Hangzhou – Zhangjiajie
After breakfast today, explore Hangzhou by car. The journey begins at Huagang Park (Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor), a classic West Lake scenic spot known for its tranquil ponds, blooming flowers and colorful fish. Continue to Long Bridge Park (Changqiao Park), a peaceful lakeside garden offering lovely views of West Lake and the surrounding hills. Afterwards, take a second-class seat on the high-speed train to Zhangjiajie. Upon arrival, you will be met at the station and transferred to your pre-booked Ctrip 4-diamond hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Zhangjiajie
By car in the morning, commence the day’s adventure by visiting Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, a spectacular natural wonder renowned for its towering peaks, deep valleys and breathtaking scenery. Take the cable car, the mountain-crossing escalator and the shuttle bus to explore the park. Visit Tianmen Cave, a massive natural arch piercing the mountain, and walk on the glass skywalk (shoe covers at your own expense). On the return journey, stop at the Fantastic Dayong City for a visit. Finally, return to the Ctrip 4-diamond hotel.

Zhangjiajie
Today, travel by car to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its towering sandstone peaks and breathtaking scenery. Begin at Helong Park, then admire the Fairy Offering Flowers, cross the No. 1 Natural Bridge under Heaven, and explore Yuanjiajie and Mihun Terrace, where you can take in a distant view of the Peak Wall Cluster. Continue to Golden Whip Stream, a tranquil valley with clear waters and lush forests, and visit the Ten-Mile Gallery (mini train not included). Finally, return to the Ctrip 4-diamond hotel by car.

Drive to the Shanghai Museum, a massive museum housing over 140,000 artifacts that presents the full history and culture of this cosmopolitan city. Then walk along The Bund, an iconic and prestigious waterfront and one of the most well-preserved examples of old Shanghai glamour. Continue to Nanjing Road, the busiest shopping precinct in China, before visiting Yu Garden Bazaar, a lively commercial area beside the classical Yuyuan Garden. Afterwards, explore the Former French Concession, wandering the quieter streets of Dongping Road or Sinan Road to find the essence of classic Shanghai. Head to Lujiazui for an exterior view of the iconic skyscrapers, including the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower. Then visit Wukang Road, admiring its historic villas and old-style architecture, and finally explore Xintiandi, a vibrant district blending traditional Shikumen architecture with modern shops, restaurants, and cafés. Return to the Ctrip 4-diamond hotel.
